-PRAISE GOD BIG TIME for rescuing one of our girls last friday. Praise him for who He is – our loving redeeming saving Father. Pray for spiritual protection for this girl that Satan would not snatch the seed away. Pray for her discipleship as the team works out the best way to do that, and pray that this girl will grow in her faith rapidly and soon be witnessing to the others.
-Pray for the team to have patience in waiting for Gods timing with the other kids. Pray for our plans of doing a home-grown ‘basics of christianity’ course on a sunday night after easter. Pray that we would see more of the guys who used to come.

Grangetown
- Last sesh before easter on tuesday night so prayer that people would still come but also that they would be fed spiritually over easter too!!
- Opportunity to share the easter message with them on tuesday! and that they would see what Jesus did for them and that he is risen and real!!
- Police involved a bit last week so prayer that the guy involved is all good and learnt from mistakes and that it gives us more of an opportunity to share the gospel with him
- for the team to be able to relax and find rest in God over easter and come back buzzin to share the gospel!!
- Salvation!!

Bedwas:
-Praise God that the large harvest still comes each week. Pray that they stick around for the talk in future.
-Pray for the team to remain committed in prayer for the club over the easter break.
-Pray that the youth will be reading their bibles and receiving power to be saved through the words.
-Praise God that relationships are being built with the new ones.
-Pray for the team to have more authority and boldness over the disruptive youth.
-Pray that, through Jesus Christ and His holy spirit, the youth will be released from their love of world values and follow the eternal ways of Christ.

Tongwynlais
-Praise for a great day away with 9 of the kids yesterday for CY.
-Praise for a good night on Friday, although some were quite hyper and disruptive, so pray for more calm this week.
-Praise God for a growing church; two of the girls came to church today (following the away day) and seemed to enjoy it.
-Pray for those who were there yesterday, that the gospel message and their need to respond would really reach their hearts over the coming days.
-Continue to pray for one boy, and thank God for opportunities we have had to chat with him.
-Pray for the final week of CY and for a way we can continue to keep the group going after Easter, discipling these young people.

Risca
-Thanks to God for the lovely kids and youth we have. They are all awesome. With the kids, we didn’t have as many as usual, probably due to the weather, but pray that we would have them all back again this week. But pray that the weather stays the same!
-With the youth, they were really good at listening to the talk but pray that it’s actually sinking in. And especially pray for one girl who really seems to be getting things. although we might not be seeing her for a long time so pray that she really seeks God while she’s away and reads her bible.
Pray for the last one before Easter, and we give them something to think about over the holiday.

Bargoed
-Praise to God for being such an amazing God and loving us.
-Prayer that the same group of kids would come back next week and potentially not be as hyper (they seem to enjoy hitting each other with pool cues!), so that we can talk to them a little more seriously.
-Prayer that they children would start taking God seriously and want to know him as their father.

Deri
Please pray for:
-Continued protection from spitiualism etc
-The behaviour of the kids, which seems to be getting worse. Ask that we would not have to seem like teachers, but brothers and sisters.
-The kids who have taken up smoking.
-All of them who have exams coming up/are waiting for results.
-The work columbian David is doing there, and the passion he brings to bible study.
-Khareeza and I, that we would be able to manage them and have fun next week.
-Thanks for the amazing conversation Simeon had with them on Friday.

Trevethin

-We had a tough night in Trevethin last Monday, where Satan’s clutches on the estate were just really blatant. Darkness is properly masquerading as light.
-Please pray that the kids’ eyes would be opened and they’d see it as evil and not good.
-Please pray that they’d turn to Christ and not to the ouija boards etc they’re mucking about with.
-Praise God for the love He’s given us for all of the young people. It’s so blatantly of Him!! Pray that it would grow and that we’d continue to shine the light of Christ into their darkness.

Abertillery
-We’re still in the series on exploring where God’s heart is in films, using a great book called ‘Passion for the Movies’ by J.John. , and the kids seems to really relate to it, it has been challenging but we’re praying that the kids have related to it and understood the message. We have had good conversations about Jesus, but also difficult weeks where they just won’t listen.
-Despite just having 3 of us this week it went well and God used us where we felt inadequate
-Pray for the kids coming back that they’d settle in
-Pray for a continuing friendship in the team, that we would grow closer and more passionate about the gospel together
-The games went well with the kids this week, it was fun so thanks to God that we can hang out with them freely, and prayer that this would lead to stronger bond with the kids, and ultimately for them to be saved!

Treorchy
-Thank God for last week – we had a really good time and they listened really well to the talk on healing and a guy came forward for prayer for his brother to be healed. We will see him again this week hopefully so keep praying that God has/will heal his brother.
-Thank God for the variety of young people who come and spend time with us at the youth club, and thank God that they really got involved last week.
-Pray that this week when we are talking about the importance of church, they would be interested and want to go to church and see what it’s like.
-Pray for all of the young people that we could have really good relationships with them and that they would respect us and we would have a lot of fun with them.
-Pray that we would be filled with energy and passion to make this week the best yet.
-Pray for salvation in Treorchy like we could never have imagined.
-Pray for God’s guidance for after easter, that we would know what to do and how to balance exams and still help out.

Troed-y-Rhiw

-Salvation!

Bedwas
-Thank God that some of our kids are reading their bibles.
-Thank God for the money for the Wii donated by one of the church members who felt God saying “the youth are the future, give to them. “LOVE IT!!
-Pray for more numbers. This week was discouraging mainly as there was a Katy Perry concert on. But many just didn’t turn up.
-Pray that the youth who started coming a couple of weeks ago stay for the talk as well.

Trevethin
- One of the girls last week said that she became a Christian a while ago after hearing the Gospel at the club!! Apparently she took one of our tracts home, and prayed herself at home! She’s been given a Bible too that we know she reads regularly and genuinely professes to be saved. The fruit of this isn’t reeeeeally in her life, so please pray for clarity:
-That either she’d be convicted of the sin in her life and properly start coming to church and living her life for Jesus.
-Or that she’d realise that perhaps she hasn’t really committed to Christ and that she’d make a genuine commitment
-Also please just pray for the kids in general…We are so desperate to see salvation in Trevethin and believe only God can remove the scales from their eyes.

Bargoed
-Since a massive group came the week before last we are down to about 6, which is actually pretty sweet because it means we can minister to them more personally and allows them to ask questions.
-But if God does want more kids to come then thats amaazing too! Prayer mainly that we remain in his will, and seek what that is.
-Prayer that for those who do come that they would really start to ENGAGE with the gospel and not just let it pass them by. Pray that they would start to see God as a real, loving Father.
-Prayer for Josh this week as he does his talk. Keep the kids excited!

Llangeinor

-Thank God for a fantastic night on friday, a great peaceful atmopshere in which the young people listened to the talk which was really well done. Thank God for relationships which are continually being built. Praise God for christianity explored on sunday night which also went well, the young people listened so much better than they had previously, the gospel was proclaimed and they asked good questions.
-Please pray for those who are regularly hearing the gosple that they would not harden their hearts. Pray also for the team that we would trust in Gods timing as we are so desperate to see salvation, pray that we would not get discouraged when God says ‘not yet’.

Treorchy
-Thank God for so many answered prayers lately
-Thank God that they listened so well this week and we had such a good time
-Pray that we would continue to build relationships and thank God for all the relationships built so far
- Pray for next week as Rob is talking on healing, pray that if any of them want us to pray that they would be healed that it would be positive thing that encourages them towards God and that God would honour the step of faith we’re taking in asking him to heal them
- Pray that God’s will would be done, and that we would have the wisdom to discern between what we want and what God wants
- Pray for salvation in Treorchy

Deri
-First off, thank God for the amazing atmosphere we had with the kids, and pray that it will continue next week.
-Thanks that the video and testimony were so well recieved, and they were prepared to sit and listen. Thanks for their questions and openness to prayer at the end.
-Pray that one boy would stop smoking, and not feel pressured away from Christianity by his home life.
-Pray for protection on another boy from his mum’s spiritual interest and involvement.
-The Valleys – In general, pray for the level of exposure to spiritualist movements, and open their eyes to the truth of Jesus.
-Pray for all of them – That they would not continue to feel afraid after how Friday finished
-Pray for the team – Pray for wisdom when planning the girl/guy event.

Risca

-Thank God for last Friday as it was one of the best ever!!
-We’ve been praying for the last couple of weeks for lots of the boys to come back because they hadn’t been in a while, then they all came back at once. It was awesome. AND, some of them even brought their bible with them that they’d been given a couple of months ago.
-There were plenty of opportunities to explain the gospel as well.
-Some of the youth are really close to understanding and are giving some pretty good answers so pray that God works in them more.
-The kids listened well in their talk as well, mostly which was pretty good. They’re getting to hear about Jesus every week now. And discipline is a lot better.
-So all round, well done God. Pray that this continues for the last 2 weeks before easter. And pray that we wouldn’t be content but keep trying to reach out to all the kids and youth

Abertillery
-For the kids who got kicked out a couple of weeks ago, that God would give them peace
-For ways to discipline the kids, and to be wise in our decisions
-Pray for these last 2 weeks before we break up for easter that we would be loving the kids even more and remembering that we should love them as if we were loving Jesus.
-That on thursday when James talks the kids would engage with the message and have questions and thoughts to share
-That they wouldn’t be embarassed to talk about what they were thinking, that it would be ‘cool’ to talk about Jesus
-That the kids who came back from rock school would keep coming and settle back into the group and continue to be a great influence on the rest of the group
-Thanks to God for a great atmosphere during the games last week

Troed-y-Rhiw
-Praise God that we keep getting more and more new girls, that they feel like they can bring there friends with them.
-We did an activity last week where asked them to write a letter to God and some of them wrote some really deep stuff, so please pray that we might be able to address some of these things and that most importantly God would be drawing near to them.
-Please pray for wisdom in knowing how to discipline or at least just keep some of them ‘under control’ so to speak, some of their behaviour is becoming very difficult to work with and means that the girls who actually want to hear the Gospel are being stopped.
- Please pray for continuing ideas in planning and wisdom in the talks.
-Most of all praise God that we actually have all of these opportunities!

Tongwynlais
-Praise for salvation! Nathan moved his ‘player’ from the supporter stand to the pitch on the CY football pitch of where we are in our relationship with Jesus (I hope that makes sense!). Pray for opportunities to talk to him in more depth about his commitment and to really encourage him.
-Praise for a good time on Friday night.
-Pray for the others on the CY course as we get to the crucial point. This Saturday is our away day and we have about 6 kids coming along. Pray for the preparation and smooth running of the day.
-Pray for continued good numbers and opportunities to build deeper relationships with these young people.

Grangetown
-For the next few weeks we’re not going to have the whole building and a lack of resources! So prayer that God keeps the guys coming and helps us to be inventive and Gospel them!
- Sat down with one of the difficult lads last week and had a chance to tell him that God loves him, he responded really well, just prayer that his heart would continue to be softened!
- For all of them that they would listen when we speak from the bible and that as the leadership we can really speak relevantly into their lives!
-Salvation!!
